In keeping with the Pioneer tradition of academic excellence, faculty, staff and students continue to work diligently and collaboratively in meeting the academicneeds of all students.

In place are supports to help students meet with success including a 2:15 - 5:15pm after school academic support program offering intensive support in the areas of English, Math, Science and Social Studies. Teams of teachers will be available after school Monday - Thursday to assist students in completion of assignments and extra support in preparation for the Regent's exams. In order to earn a Regent's diploma, students are required to pass five Regent's examinations in English, Math, Global History, US History and a Regent's Science exam. Students must also complete 22 units of credits, three (3) units in both Math and Science.

Our students continue to excel. In addition to the diverse course offerings at the high school, students can participate in Advance Placement (AP) courses, advanced studies college credit courses, clubs, sports and extra curricularactivities. We encourage your child to get involved in one or more of the many wonderful opportunities available at Pioneer.

Pioneer High School is diligently exploring academies in the high school educational setting.
